Grove Lawn Cemetery in Pendleton is located on Pendleton Avenue north of downtown. Known as the Old Falls Cemetery or Pendleton Cemetery to some, this cemetery is the resting place for many of the county's first families.  The old section of the cemetery is on the east side of Pendleton Avenue.  One of the oldest, eligible markers in the cemetery there is that of Ann Jane Irish who died Dec 23, 1834.  The newer section of the cemetery is located on the west side of Pendleton Avenue.
