Funeral services for Adolph H.
Smitherman, 59, of 710 25th Ave. E, who died Friday at his home, will
be at 2 p.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev.
Durwood Knowles and the Rev. Billy Austin will officiate with burial in
Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Smitherman, Tuscaloosa; two sons, O'Neal Smitherman and Kenneth Smitherman, both of Tuscaloosa; a daughter, Marilynn Smitherman, Birmingham; four brothers, Lee Smitherman and Orbin R. Smitherman, both of Tuscaloosa, Nolan Smitherman, Jemison, and Earl Smitherman, California; a sister, Wilda Boyd, Tuscaloosa; three grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Jerry White, J.W. Clements, James Hatcher, Bobby Miller, Hugh Cantrell, Don Farnsworth and J.W. "Hat" Hughes.
