Analou Smitherman, 88, of
Fayetteville died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was
born Sept. 7, 1923, in Pettigrew, Ark., the daughter of Elhannon
Johnson and Mary Yount Johnson.
She was employed as a loan officer with First National Bank for over 30 years; and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Smitherman in 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Dyan Brannon of Fayetteville; son, Jack Smitherman and wife, Barbara, of San Marcos, Texas; grandsons, Brandon Williams and wife, Shaylin, of Prairie Grove, David Brannon of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Williams, Kaitlyn Warford, Jacob Williams, Kristopher Williams, Jackson Williams; step-grandchildren, Josh and Sara Lambert.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
