Funeral services for Bertha D. Smitherman Minor, 69, of Clanton, will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 1997 at the Clanton Church of God at 2 p.m. with the Reverends Arthur Davis and Billy Boatwright officiating. Burial will be at the Sunshine Assembly of God Cemetery with teh Martin Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Minor was born in Alabama on May 17, 1928 to the late Claude C. Smitherman and Reni Jones Smitherman. She died at her residence in Clanton on July 7, 1997.

She is survived by her husband, Reedie Minor, Clanton; a daughter and son, Shannon Rawlinson and Tommy Minor, Clanton; three grandchildren, Chris Minor, Christopher Rawlinson and Shawn Scott, Clanton; a sister and two brothers, Mary Kilgore, Sam Smitherman and John Smitherman all of Clanton.
