Mrs. Beulah P. Smitherman, 92, of 314 25th Ave. E., died Thursday at Druid City Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Shady Grove Baptist Church near Randolph, in Bibb County. The Rev. Robert Moore and the Rev. William Davis will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemtery with Hayes Chapel Home handling arrangements.
She is survived by one daughter, Miss Lillie Bell Smitherman of Tuscaloosa; three sons, R.V. Smitherman of Bessemer, Floyd Smitherman of Montevallo and Hollis Smitherman of Tuscaloosa; one sister, Miss Ellen Nance of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Marvin Nance of Mobile and five grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Bobby Smitherman, Charles Armor, Sidney Hamner, Ira Howard, Glen Smitherman and Virgil Smitherman. Honorary pallbearers will be Millard Smitherman, Ben Raybon, Hubbard Robinson, J. B. Robinson, Arrie Duncan, Jessie Gray, Willie Gray, Tom Gray, Royce Gray, Edgar Randolph, Charlie Payne, Harold Smitherman, Neal Smitherman, Moody Smitherman, Alfred Mathews, Dr. Henry Herrod and Dr. James Sherwood.
The body will lie in state in the church from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday.
