Mrs. Beverly Ann Scott: Age 66. A native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Fairhope, AL died at a local hospital, Wednesday, December 13, 2000. She was a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School and attended Calhoun Community College and University of Alabama at Huntsville. She was a member of a local mystical organization, member of the Gayfers Career Club, and Former Vice President of the Alabama Business Women's Association. She was active in Huntsville Realty Association and in the Mobile Metropolitan Area Travel Agencies. Mrs. Scott was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was owner of Savannah Lynn's Sweet Magnolias, Gifts and Accessories. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Smitherman, Sr and brother, Paul J. Smitherman, Jr. Survivors include her children, Dawn Stockton of New Orleans, LA, Vince Scott and David Scott, both of Mobile; four grandchildren, David Scott, Pakie Ankerson, Dustin Scott, Chelsea Scott, and Savannah Scott, one brother, Donnie Smitherman of Mobile; one sister, Linda Barker of Perdido, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, December 15, from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
