Funeral services for Christopher Shane "Gator" Smitherman, 25, of Monticello, LA will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Monticello Southern Baptist Church. Rev. Rocky Stephens will officiate. Visitation will be at the chrurch from Noon Friday until time of Services.
Burial will be in the Herringville Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Gator died late Wednesday night from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He is preceded in death by his beloved fiance, Tina Louise Fuller and his grandfathers, James Edward Kirkland and Elzie Smitherman Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Bubba & Janie Smitherman; two brothers, Rodney & Jeffery Smitherman all of Monticello; grandmothers, Glenda Smitherman of Pollock, LA and Nancy Kirkland of Pioneer, LA; uncles & aunts, Eddie & Shawnee Arledge of Pollock, LA, Chris & Lyn Kirkland of Pioneer, LA, David & Jeri McCuen of Springhill, LA, Rickie & Kim Arledge of Monticello, LA, Billy & Deanna Lovell of Lake Providence and Mark Kirkland of Pioneer, LA; and cousins Jake, Jabe & Amanda McCuen, Hardy & Rickie Arledge Jr., and Cory, Blake & Victoria Lovell.
He is also survived by the parents of his beloved fiance, Clyde & Debra Fuller and Family.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Johnson, Adam Plunkett, Paul Philley, John David Frith, Lonnie Green & David Dennis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Fuller and Robert Fuller.
