Kelley, Clara Smitherman Wallace, 89 of Lawley passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her sister’s residence in Montevallo. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by husbands, Wesley Wallace and Hibbert Kelley; her son, Bobby Gene Wallace; sister, Dorothy Cooper; brothers, Harvey Smitherman, James Smitherman and Grover Smitherman.

Survivors include three granddaughters, Sharon (Chris) Sherbett, Centreville, Sandra (Mike) Dean, Republic, MO, and Sherry Hoggle, Daphne; brother, Stanley Smitherman, Randolph; sisters, Edna Brasher, Randolph, Flora Jane Jones, Montevallo; eight great grandchildren, three great-great–grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was a long time member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph.

Visitation will be held at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo, Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Randolph, Monday, February 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. She will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service and will be buried in the church cemetery.
