Carlsbad, California - Cynthia "Cindy" Sullivan Kaldor was 68 years of age when she passed away peacefully from early onset Alzheimer's disease on April 10, 2021, in Carlsbad, California.

Cindy was the first born child to Phillip and Jeanette Sullivan on July 11,1952, in Norfolk, Virginia where her father was stationed in the US Navy.

Cindy's family moved to California where she graduated from Glendale High School in 1970. She attended Chico State University and San Mateo City College and became a Registered Nurse. She returned to college in 1981 and graduated from Sonoma State College, earning a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health Nursing.

She was hired by Hewlett Packard Company to develop and manage the first Employee Health Department at the Roseville Division. She was recruited to HP's corporate offices in Palo Alto where she worked in the Risk Management Departments of HP and Agilent Technologies. Her career in the high tech industry enriched her life with world travel and deep lasting friendships.

To advance her education, Cindy earned a Master of Business Administration with honors for high scholastic achievement from San Francisco State University in 2006. Returning to her nursing roots, Cindy left her work in the Silicon Valley, obtained a certificate in Geriatric Care Management from Florida State University and established Gold River Senior Support Services, a business helping seniors manage life.

While working as an RN at American River Hospital in Sacramento, she met her husband Bruce Kaldor, MD. Cindy married Bruce and became a stepmother to Bruce's children, Bruce James and Amy and a grandmother to Cole, Toren, Adelaide and Flynn. She loved adventure, travel and hiking the trails of her beloved Lake Tahoe. She enjoyed volunteer work, listening to music and spending time with her family and many friends. Cindy will be remembered for her beautiful smile and warmth that made anyone around her feel instantly happy.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Sullivan. She leaves behind her mother Jeanette (Smitherman) Sullivan; her brothers Tim (Cindy) Sullivan and Ramsay (Lisa) Sullivan; her husband Bruce; her stepchildren Bruce James (Laura Delgado) Kaldor and Amy (Luke) Bremner, MD; and grandchildren Cole Kaldor, Toren Kaldor, Adelaide Bremner and Flynn Bremner. She remains dearly loved and cherished by her family.
