Smitherman, 88 will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at
Andrews Cemetery in Karnack with the Rev. Brenda Lucas officiating.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at
Sullivan-Heaster Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smitherman passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, in Jefferson. She was born April 27, 1920, in Marion County, to Lawrence and Alma Bramlett.
Ms. Bramlett married Robert Smitherman on April 4, 1961 in Marshall. She owned Beauty Time Salon in Karnack and retired in 1988.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Charles Coats of Marshall; one grandson, Vance Coats of Marshall; two brothers, A.H. Bramlett and wife Dorothy of Hallsville, and Rex Bramlett and wife Jan of Karnack; and a sister, Patsy Horton of Midland, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smitherman.
