Gail Smitherman, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed
away Friday, June 8, 2012, at the age of 54. Celebration of life: 10
a.m. Tuesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial
Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Dana was
born Nov. 22, 1957, in Fort Worth to the late Clayton and Allie
Smitherman. Survivors: Husband, Sam Collins; daughter, Nanetta Edwards;
son, Anthony Edwards and wife, Marsha; son, Timothy Edwards; brother,
Ronnie and wife, Gayle; stepbrother, Perry Smitherman and wife,
Ernestine; stepsister, Martha Glasscock; grandchildren, Nikolas and
Abbigail Edwards; and many other extended family and friends.
