Dorothy Selda Davidson
Smitherman of Ringgold died Monday, Dec. 19. She was 77. A native of
Dunham, Ky., she had lived in the Ringgold area for more than 50 years
and was a member of Ringgold First Baptist Church. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Donald Smitherman. Survivors include her son and
daughter-in-law, Tony and Gwen Smitherman of Ringgold; three sisters,
Joy Rungee of East Ridge, Tenn., Wanda Wooten of Rossville, Betty
Lawhorn of Collegedale, Tenn.; one grandson, Dillon Smitherman of
Ringgold; many other loving family members and friends. Services:
Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Dan
Whittaker officiating. Burial: Anderson Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday,
Dec. 20, from 2-9 p.m. and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral
home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Ringgold.
