SMITHERMAN, Earl Eugene, 79,
resident of Prattville, AL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday,
September 25, 2012. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday,
September 29, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Prattville Memory Gardens with
Reverend Mark Helms officiating. Mr. Smitherman was preceded in death
by his loving wife of 55 years, Joann Smitherman; two brothers, James
Smitherman and Joe Smitherman. He is survived by three daughters,
Patricia Smitherman Moss, Debbie (Sam) Robertson and Gaye Smitherman
Pelkey; three grandchildren, Tiffany Moss, Kyle Robertson and Dalton
Pelkey; two sisters, Voncile Scott and Judy Smitherman; one brother,
Otis Smitherman, Jr.; and numerous other extended family members and
friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday one-hour prior to
his service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the
staff at Greensprings Assisted Living, Prattville Baptist, and Baptist
Hospice for their care and compassion.
