Floyd Smitherman, of Route 1 in
Randolph, passed away peacefully at his home March 29. Preceding him in
death were his parents, Horace Smitherman and Saduthria Posey
Smitherman; three brother, Curtis, Grover and Grady Smitherman and one
daughter, Donna Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois Brown Smitherman, and his children, Linda Shirley (Butch), Grace Pope (Sam), Vicki Fox, Jeff Smitherman (Rhonda), and Ricky Smith, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at The Church at Brierfield, Highway 139, Brierfield on April 12 at 3 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to The Church at Brierfield.
