Mrs. Eloise Scott, 87 of Deatsville, passed away Friday December 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held Monday December 15th at 11:00 AM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Randolph, Alabama with Pastor Evie Meggison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Scott was born August 30, 1927 in Randolph to the late William James Smitherman and Evelyn Myrtle Payne Smitherman. She loved flowers, gardening and fishing. She will always be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell L. Scott in 2000 and her daughter Wanda F. Price in 2002.
She is survived by three daughters; Annette Smith of Jemison, Alabama, Brenda Creel of Deatsville, Debbie Creel and her husband Phillip of Deatsville, three sons and daughters in law, Willy and Judy Scott of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Randy and Tomerria Scott of Billingsley, Johnny and Nancy Scott of Deatsville and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel .
