Emily H. Smitherman, age 63, of
Warrior, AL formerly of Blount County, AL passed away at St. Vincent's
Hospital on June 7, 2015. Mrs. Smitherman worked as a Medical Records
Analyst at Children's Hospital in Birmingham. She was of the Assembly
of God faith.
She is preceded in death by parents, William T. and Marie Baker Herring and daughter, Britany Emlie Smitherman.
Mrs. Smitherman is survived by husband, Roy Smitherman of Warrior and sister, Charlene Greer (Charles) of Mississippi.
Bro. Denny Armstrong officiated funeral services on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1PM from the Chapel of Blountsville Funeral Home with burial following at Rock Springs Cemetery.
