emily ira (west) smitherman
Emily was first married to
Thomas B. Hunt {one son}, second to James W. Smith, and third to Louie
Brand Smitherman; she was the dau. of George W. West and wife Lester
Victoria Sanders. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Eastern Star,
and worked for many years at Long Lewis Hardware in Bessemer. Emily was
a dear lady and great help in the Sanders family history having the
Joseph Sanders family bible.
