Williams Smitherman, 89, of Ruston will be 10:00 AM Monday, January 16,
2006 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Rev. Dickie Love will
officiate. Interment will be at in Ruston under the
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mrs. Smitherman passed away on Friday, January 13, 2006 in Ruston.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, LA. Mrs. Smitherman was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Smitherman and granddaughter Shannon Smitherman.
Mrs. Smitherman is survived by her children, Roger L. Smitherman and wife JoAnn of Choudrant, Shirley Ann Brown and husband Mike of Oak Grove, Buddy W. Smitherman of West Monroe, and Bobbie A. Smitherman of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Alicia Hogan, Dewanna Love, Scotty Smitherman, Jesse Smitherman, and Justin Smitherman; one great grandchild, Shannon Riley Hogan.
Pallbearers will be Frank Winzer, Buddy Skains, Vic Jones, Buddy Davis, Billy Townsend, and Waylon Durr.
Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Smitherman Construction Company.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM — 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2005 at the funeral home.
