Services for Eric Smitherman, 24, of Maplesville, were held May 29 with burial at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Mr. Smitherman, a marine and construction worker, died May 27.
Survivors include his daughter, Kenley Minor of Clanton; father, David "Randy" Smitherman of Maplesville; mother, Pamela "Pam" Smitherman of Maplesville; brother, Todd Smitherman of Maplesville; sister, Holly Smitherman of Maplesville and grandmother, Inez Smitherman of Maplesville.
