ervin william lineberry

Mr. Ervin William Lineberry, 75, of Phillips Road, East Bend, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born in Yadkin County on April 16, 1929, to the late Gurney Lineberry and Lora Matthews Lineberry. Mr. Lineberry was a retired Trucking Dispatcher and of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are his wife, Lorene Smitherman Lineberry of the home; one son, Ervin “Curley” Lineberry Jr. and wife, Joy, of Yadkinville; two daughters, Shirley Hill of Mount. Airy and Shelby Wiedenhoft and husband, Bill, of Yadkinville; two brothers, Jackie Lineberry of Arkansas and Richard Lineberry of Boonville; two sisters, Vera Davis of East Bend and Emma Jean Anderson of Kernersville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mr. Lineberry will be held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the Huff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Stratus officiating. Burial will follow in the Baltimore Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening Feb. 2, 2005, from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
