esther (smitherman) cramer

Esther Cramer, the daughter of John and Gladys Stingley Smitherman, was born at Covina, California on February 29, 1924, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska on June 22, 1981, at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 23 days.

She was raised at LaPuente, California and graduated from high school there. From 1942 until 1945 she attended the Bible Institute of Los Angeles. After that she worked with the Goye Mission for 10 years in Oklahoma.

On May 18, 1956 she was united in marriage to Henry E. Cramer at Omaha, Nebraska. Three children were born to this union.

After her marriage they lived in Nebraska at Papillion, Omaha, Dannebrog and Aurora.

Esther was a member of the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John.

Those who survive to cherish her memory are her faithful and devoted husband, Henry; two sons, Paul of Pensacola, Florida and Mark of Aurora; daughter, Mrs. Ruth Ann Wyatt of Unadilla, Nebraska; two brothers, Robert Smitherman of Sunny Mead, California and Thomas Smitherman of Oregon; one sister Mrs. Gertrude Rodes of Romoland, California; one grandchild and other relatives and a host of friends.
