She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rev. Edward Smitherman, 3 daughters and 1 son and her siblings Amos, Howard ,Essie, ,Gussie, Vernon, Euna Mae and Vonnie as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
