Smitherman, Glenn D., 85, oil producer, was born May 15, 1919 in Arkansas City to Chalmer & Hazel (Fourday) Smitherman, and died September 25, 2004. Visitation 9am to 8pm Tuesday; service 10:30 am Wednesday, both at Dunsford Funeral Home. Survivors: son, Bill of Rhode Island; sister, Karolynn Smitherman of Wichita. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Helen; brother, Leon. Memorials to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
