BOONE - Mr. Grady R. Smitherman,
79, retired painter, died Sunday. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at
Timbered Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors are wife, Willice; daughters, Ms. Helen Smitherman of Zionsville, Mrs. Shirley Chester of Sugar Grove, Miss Jean Smitherman; brothers, George Smitherman, Lewis Smitherman; sisters, Mrs. Lucy May of Sugar Grove, Mrs. Pearl Harmon of Vilas, Mrs. Ruth May, Mrs. Beauah Ward, both of Lenoir, Mrs. Sarah Martin of Limestone, Tenn., Mrs. Mae Jones of De Land, Fla. Hampton is in charge.
