harold gregory smitherman
SEATTLE,
WA - Greg passed away peacefully with his wife, Jeannie, by his side on
December 26, 2011 at the age of 59. He was born on August 8, 1952 in
Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Harold and Alice Smitherman. Greg was
a graduate of Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport. He then went on
to graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture from LSU. Greg began his
career in Ruidoso, New Mexico. There he met Jeannie and together they
moved to Seattle. Greg was a valued talent at Callison LLC for 24
years, up until his sudden passing.
Greg is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jeannie; his sister, Jill Green; his niece, Beka; and his nephews, Chris and Brad. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Alice Smitherman and his dog of 14 years, Lilly. He enjoyed bass fishing with his best friend, Joel and watching LSU football.
Greg was loved by many for his wit and intelligence. He will be greatly missed by all. At his request there will be no funeral service.
