Harvey Gray Miller, 82, passed
away Tuesday December 16, 2014. He was born March 20, 1932 in Yadkin
County to the late Benjamin H. and Mahalia Shore Miller. Mr. Miller
served in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, his
wife Nancy Smitherman Miller; one sister, and eight brothers. Surviving
are a son Ricky Miller; two daughters Cathy (Jimmy) Snow, Linda
(Robert) McCoy; three grandchildren Sabrina Snow, Steven Snow, and
Miranda Miller; one great grandchild Hunter Gray Snow. The family will
receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday December 20, 2014 at Gentry Family
Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will be conducted
at 2:00 PM Saturday at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Scott Welch and
Rev. Randy Johnson. Burial will follow at Turners Creek Baptist Church
cemetery with full Military Honors by the NC National Guard and VFW
Post 10346. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the
staff of the Cancer Center at Forsyth Medical Center, Dr. Chen, First
Responders of Courtney VFD, and Yadkin County EMS. Online condolences
