Howell "Joe" Smitherman, Jr.,
50, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away June 18, 2007. Joe was born on
April 1, 1957 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly Smitherman; daughter, Megan Smitherman; son, Michael Smitherman; step-daughter, Ciana Herman; parents, Joe and Mary Ann Smitherman; and sister, Debby Flentge. He is further survived by three nieces: Lori Bates, Amy Moseley, and Katie Hunt.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chandler Elks Lodge, with a celebration of life immediately following.
