Funeral services for Mr. Jadie Emmail Ferguson, 84, of
Jemison will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at Martin Chapel, with the Rev.
Charles Teague officiating. Burial will follow at Chilton Memorial Gardens, with
Martin Funeral Home directing.
Ferguson was born in Bibb County on Feb. 9, 1916, to the late Columbus Leon and Decie Ann Smitherman Ferguson. He died on March 28 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
He is survived by is widow, Earlene Ferguson of Jemison, two daughters, Peggy Slay of Chickasaw Sue Caton of Irvington; two sons-in-law, James Slay of Chickasaw; Marshall Caton of Irvington, one brother, Cecil Ferguson of Randolph; one sister, Gladys Smith of Randolph, nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
