SMITHERMAN, JAMES DOUGLAS,
passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the age of 64. He was
born in Alabama on June 24, 1946, the son to Houston and Martha Mathis
Smitherman. He was a resident of Alabaster, Alabama.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Cox Smitherman; daughter, Lisa Watson (Alvin), daughter, Susie Smitherman; son, James Matthew Smitherman (Tina), and daughter, Ryan Lynn Smitherman (Alex Hill).
Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 20th at the Alabama National Cemetery at 10:15 AM. Charter Funeral Home.
