HARPER, JEANETTE SMITHERMAN 83,
of Montevallo, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at her home. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell Harper; brothers, Steve
Smitherman, Roland Smitherman, and Alton Smitherman; and granddaughter,
Tina Harper Jenkins. Jeanette is survived by her sons; Trussel Harper,
and Philip Harper; daughters, Beverly Hirsch, Rosetta (Terry) Smith,
and Lynn Odom; brother, Bob Smitherman; sisters, Polly Kiker, and Alvis
Naramore; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will
be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral
Home Montevallo in Parlor B. Funeral services will be held Thursday,
December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
John Ackerman officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Macedonia Cemetery Fund,
