Smitherman, 72, of Corpus Christi, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005.
She was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Seagoville, to the late Cleo Smith.
Survivors: daughters, Teresa Frazier and Lisa Schroeder; sisters, Charlene Slechta and Barbara Baker; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Bud Smitherman; son, Gary Smitherman; and sister, Peggy Marion.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Gardens Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, the Rev. Morgan officiating.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memory Gardens Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, 361-265-9221.
