Lindberg Smitherman, 76, died Friday,
Oct. 10, 2003, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mr. Smitherman was born June 26, 1927, in Yadkin County to the late Rob S. and Ila Hennings Smitherman. He was employed his entire career with Pepsi Cola Bottling Co.
He is survived by his wife, Pat of the home; a sister, Betty Collins of Winston-Salem; a brother, R.B. Smitherman, also of Winston-Salem; a brother, Ed Smitherman of East Bend; and several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Smitherman's request, no visitation or services are planned. Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
