HUNTSVILLE -- Funeral for Kenneth Smitherman, 64, of Lacey's Spring was to be today at 1 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home South.
Burial was to be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Mr. Smitherman died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at his home.
He was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Alabama. He was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Smitherman; one son, Keith Smitherman of Huntsville; one daughter, Lori Walton of Huntsville; his mother, Mary Smitherman of Montevallo; one brother, Larry Smitherman of Montevallo; one sister, Carolyn Wilson of Nashville; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
