LeRoy smitherman
Leroy Smitherman, 87, Lexington,
Mo ., died Nov. 8, 1993, at a hospital in Lexington. Services will be
at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Walker-Nadler-Graff Chapel, Lexington; burial
in Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m.
today at the chapel. Mr. Smitherman was born in Chapel Hill, Mo ., and
lived in Lexington most of his life. He worked for Mattingly Brothers
Stores Co. in Lexington for 50 years, retiring as vice president in
1973. He was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church. Survivors
include his wife, Mary Bascom Smitherman of the home.
