Smitherman, 53, of Fort Worth was to be Saturday, Jan. 11 at 10:30 a.m.
at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Boyd. Dr. Frankie Rainey was to
officiate. Burial was to follow at Boyd Cemetery.
Smitherman died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, in Dallas.
Born March 15, 1949, in Fort Worth, she was a medications nurse for Ikon Insurance Company in Las Colinas.
She is survived by her partner, Jo Gutierrez of Fort Worth; a daughter, Nancy Smitherman and Bobbie Burkett of Fort Worth; a sister, Reva Joyce Alexander of Boyd; a brother, Don D. Sinclair of Cleburne and two grandchildren, David Lytle and Chance Creek of Fort Worth.
Pallbearers were to be David Lytle, Lee Thompson, David Montgomery, Ricky Joe Montgomery, Jeff Tuller and Jason Vandever.
