She was born on Saturday, August 26, 1922 in Bibb Co., AL, Daughter of the late Morgan Smitherman and the late Lucy Wright Smitherman.
She was a Homemaker.
Surviving are her Granddaughter, Jeannie Lee (Cliff) Smith of Lawley, AL; 2 Grandsons, Tony (Renee) Reynolds of Lawley, AL, Shelby Troy Jones of Lawley, AL; Brother, James Smitherman of Lawley, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Trent, Emily & Lexi Smith of Lawley, AL; Son-in-Law, Tommy Jones of Lawley, AL.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lloyd Garner; Daughter, Linda Diane Jones; Daughter, Mary Lloyd Garner; Daughter, Yuanita Garner.
Friends will be received from 5-8, Monday, May 10, 2010 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 11:00 A.M.. at Pleasant Grove Bapt. #2 with Rev. Robert Gibson and Rev. Ron Gatlin officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist #2 Cemetery, Lawley, AL.
