Margaret Louise Smitherman, age
80 of Bowdon, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Fulton County Georgia, November 30, 1926, the daughter
of the late William and Linnie Mae Voyles Parker. She was of the Free
Holliness Faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Smitherman, Sr; three brothers, Robert Parker, Rick Parker and Allen Parker; and sister, Kate Parker. Survivors include three sons, Ray Smitherman, Jr of Roopville, GA, William "Bill" Smitherman of Whitesburg, GA, and Deah Smitherman of Bowdon; two daughters, Donna Lynn Roberson of Aragon, GA and Judy Robinson of West Point, GA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Parker of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Joyce Harmon of Bowdon and Suzy Gresham of Kingston,GA.
Funeral services held Saturday, April 21 from the chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home, Bowdon, with Bro. Michael Parker and Bro. Phil Cullpepper officiating. Grandsons are pallbearers. Interment in the Roopville City Cemetery, Roopville, Georgia.
