HUGO, Okla. — Funeral service for M. J. Smitherman, about 95,
who died Friday in Mannsville, will be held here probably Monday, Campbell Funeral Home having charge. Mr. Smitherman, who formerly operated a stock farm here, had made his home at Mannsville with a daughter, Mrs. P. W. Williams, since his wife's death in 1951.
Other children surviving, all living in Texas, are: Miss Beatrice Smitherman and Mrs. Lars Djernis, Texarkana, both former teachers in Choctaw County; Mrs.Tom Suttle, Odessa; Mrs. Ramon Tippit, Dallas; O. W. Smitherman and C.D. Smitherman, Fort Worth, and C. F. Smitherman and Rufus Smitherman. Athens
