Funeral services for Marjorie Moore, 60, of 4616 Woodlawn avenue in Griffing park, a resident of the Port Arthur area for 40 years, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Nunnelly-Stanley Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes.

Mrs. Moore died Monday at 9:25 p.m. in Park Place hospital following and illness of one week.

Ardie P. Brown, minister of the Thomas Boulevard Church of Christ, will officiate.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial park.

A native of Hamilton, Texas.  Mrs. Moore was a member of the Thomas Boulevard Church of Christ of Port Arthur.

Surviving Mrs. Moore are her husband, Windsor Moore of Port Arthur, two sons, Larry Moore of Port Arthur and Maj. Billy J Moore with the U.S. Army Air Force, stationed at Washington, D.C.; four brothers, Thomas Smitherman of Groves, Charles Smitherman of Port Arthur, William Smitherman of Nederland and Jimmie Smitherman of Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Horsley of Nederland and Mrs. Cleo Townsend of Cisco, Texas, and two grandchildren.
