Frances (Falkenberry) Smitherman a native of Selma, Al and a resident
of Foley passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Mary was a member of
Foley First Baptist Church and a retired pre-school teacher of 32
years. She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar Odell Falkenberry
and Emma Adaline (Snodgrass) Falkenberry. She is survived by: her
husband, Jimmy Smitherman, son, Jay Smitherman (Freida), daughter, Joi
Smitherman Laurendine (Kenny), granddaughters, Mandy Smitherman
Allenbech, Savannah Laurendine, Brooklyn Hamm, grandsons, Grant
Allenbach, Dustin Smitherman, and sister, Joyce Falkenberry Young.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at
Foley First Baptist Church with the service beginning at 2:00 pm.
