The remains of Mrs. Mary Behrendsen, 63, who died at her home in Montgomery, Sunday afternoon , were brought to Prattville Monday afternoon
following a funeral service in that city, and buried beside the remains
of her husband who died here years ago...Mrs. Behrendsen and her
husband resided in Prattville for many years operating a bakery in the
building just west of The Progress office.
Following the death of her husband, she moved to Montgomery 24
years ago, and had continued to reside there. The deceased is
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Herbert J Ward, of Birmingham.
