mattie (smitherman) anderson
Mrs Anderson was born in
Pemiscot County on August 12, 1882, the daughter of David and Margaret
Smitherman and lived most of her life in Hayti. One September 4,
1907, at Caruthersville, she was married to Lee Anderson.
She leaves her husband, of Route 1, Hayti; two sons, Harley Anderson of Caruthersville and Ernest Anderson of Hayti; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Campbell of Bragg City; two brothers, Luther Smitherman of Hayti and Ernest Smitherman, Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Haley and Mrs. Walter Barnes of Hayti ; and six grandchildren.
