Michael Lynn Smitherman, 52, of
Coffeeville, passed away September 12, 2015 from injuries received in
an automobile accident near Coffeeville. He was born August 2, 1963 in
Alabama to the late Thomas Edward and Hazel Marie Davis Smitherman. He
was a logger and had worked many years for Moore’s Logging in Bruce. He
enjoyed his work and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Elam Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Smitherman of Coffeeville; one daughter, Karen Smitherman of Jasper, AL; three sons, Jason Smitherman of Slapout, AL, Tommy Boyd of Coffeeville and Clay Boyd of Ravenden, AR; four sisters, Janice Wilks of Prattville, AL, Judy Dilday of Prattville, AL, Laura Smitherman of Granbury, TX and Barbara Smitherman of Granbury, TX; three brothers, Thomas Smitherman of Granbury, TX, Eugene Smitherman of Cabot, AR and Kenny Smitherman of Birmingham, AL; and 13 grandchildren.
