Mozelle Hurley Lemons age 82, of 4849 NC Hwy 24/27W, Mt. Gilead died Friday, July 6, 2001 at her home.
Mrs. Lemons was the daughter of the late Carson and the late Carrie (Smitherman) Hurley, Sr. Mrs. Lemons, a Montgomery County native, was a member of Trinity UMC. She was owner and operator of Lake Tillery Family Campsites.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Lemons of Mt. Gilead; two sons, Moody Lemons, Jr. of Mt. Gilead and Tommy Lemons, Sr. of Troy; one sister, Nell H. Efird of Naples, FL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Saturday from 7-9 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; and at other times at the home of son, Tommy Lemons, Sr., 1544 NC Hwy 134N., Troy.
The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at Pugh- Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 North Main Street, Troy with Rev. Nelson Chambers and Rev. Robert Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
