Nell Smitherman Lemons , 77, of 655 Biscoe Rd., died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Trinity United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Church Cook. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.

She was a native of Montgomery County, a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Lemons of the home; sister, Joyce Smitherman of Troy; and sister-in-law, Mary Smitherman of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North main Street, Troy.
