Funeral
services for Ollie M. 'Sis' Lovelady, 80, of Maplesville, will be held
on Sunday, July 25, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Cox Chapel Methodist Church,
with Rev. Jim Shannon officiating. Burial will be at
Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville, with Martin Funeral Home
directing. Lovelady was born on Dec. 24, 1918, in Chilton County,
the daughter of the late Rube and Clara Smitherman. She was a
seamstress. She died on July 27, 1999, at her residence.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Lovelady and Bill Lovelady, both of
Selma, and Roger Lovelady, Spartanburg, S.C. three daughters, Pat
Moore, Barbara Crocker and Sheila Wright, all of Maplesville, 17
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Lloyd David Lovelady and one daughter Peggy L. Wimberly.
