Ringgold, Ga., June 13 - The body of Otto Smitherman, with the head almost severed by a razor, was found about three miles south of Ringgold last night, while nearby was the body of Earl Williams, swinging to the limb of a tree. According to the verdict of the coroner's jury, Smitherman was killed by Williams, who then hanged himself. Jealousy over a young woman of the community is said to have been the cause of the crime. Both men were about 20 years of age and in good standing.
