Funeral
services for Patsy Lee Walker, 69, of Pollok will be held Saturday,
September 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church of
Lufkin with Reverend Joe Stanley and Brother Ray Pinner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery. Mrs. Walker was born
October 1, 1944 to Aurrie and Juanita (Wallace) Smitherman, and died
Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in a local hospital. Mrs. Walker was a
lifetime resident of Pollok. She was an avid fisherman and hunter, and
loved to travel. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal
Church of Lufkin. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey
Wayne and Tammy Walker of Pollok; grandsons, Alex Walker, Andy Walker,
Aubrey James Walker, and Trenton McCaa, all of Pollok, and a number of
nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Aurrie and Juanita Smitherman; husband, Aubrey C. Walker; and
brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Betty Smitherman. Pallbearers
will be Frank Parker, Tim Beckham, Darrell Cook, Rev. Josh Reneau,
Johnny Castleberry and Thomas Driver. Honorary pallbearers will be
Dalton Cook and A.J. Walker. Memorial contributions may be made to the
First United Pentecostal Church of Lufkin, 3200 S. Medford Drive,
Lufkin, Texas 75901. The family will welcome friends and loved ones
from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening the First United Pentecostal Church of
