Peter Dalton Fox passed away at
his home August 7, 2012. He was the son of Barbara Dalton Fox
Smitherman and William Fox and stepson of Peter F. Smitherman. He was a
self employed electrical contractor and spent much of his adult life in
Winston-Salem. Peter was a vivacious, likable, intelligent and kind
soul who loved trains and traveling. He was extremely social and was a
Moose, Elk and a Son of the American Legion. Surviving are Peter's son,
Walter Dalton Fox and his mother, Judy Rominger Uhrig; a plethora of
cousins including, Jane Frazier Gray, Bud Frazier, Cham Glen and his
favorite cousin, Walter Rolandi. A graveside service will be held on
Saturday, August 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in The Dalton
Family Plot. Following the service the family will receive friends at
Salem Funeral Home, Main St. Chapel. Online condolences may be made
