Ralda Mae Smith Mabe May 9, 1919 - May 3, 2012 Ralda Mae Smith Mabe,
92, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Memorial
Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5,
2012 at Northwoods Baptist Church in Winston-Salem NC, with Rev. Frank
Shumate officiating. Ralda was the daughter of the late Nettie Lawson
and Tommy Smith. She was an avid lover of country music, including
artists like Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. She was preceded in death by her
loving husband Odell Mabe; son Bobby G. Mabe; two sisters and two
brothers. Survivors include daughter-in-law Linda W. Mabe;
granddaughter Jill Smitherman (Craig); great grandson Garrett
Smitherman; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Helon Moore, all of
Winston-Salem; brothers Ted Smith (Pat) of Summerfield, Joe Smith
(Anna) of Greensboro; several loving nieces and nephews. Special
friends: The Salmons Family, Nancy Vanhoy, and Touched by Angels
caregivers, Thanks for always "being there:" Becky, Katie Scott, and
Tracy Westmoreland. Visitation will be held Friday May 4, 2012 from
6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Northwoods Baptist Church in Winston-Salem.
